My journey into this work began when foster-adopting two children revealed how trauma lives in the body. Despite being an engineer who valued logic over feeling, I discovered that stress responses aren’t character flaws - they’re brilliant biological adaptations.
Through extensive training in Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and the Biology of Trauma, I learned to listen to what the body holds when the mind can’t process overwhelm. This work transformed my relationship with my own nervous system from battle to partnership, and now I guide others to build that same self-trust.

This four-part immersion guides you through understanding your nervous system’s brilliant protective patterns into practical application of body based tools for regulation.
We begin with the biology of stress, teaching you to track sensations and complete startle responses through orienting practices.
Then, we move into relational stress and parts work, helping you identify when younger protective parts take over and how to respond from your healing self.

I am a coach and educator, not a licensed psychotherapist. Coaching focuses on personal development, building skills, and achieving future goals through education and somatic practices. Therapy often focuses more on diagnosis and treating mental health disorders. If you are experiencing a severe mental health crisis, please seek the support of a licensed mental health professional. This experience is designed for those who are fundamentally stable but feel stuck in old patterns.

Your safety is my top priority. This is a skill-building group, and a core skill we focus on is regulation. I will guide the group in somatic tools and resources to help you manage activation in real-time. The container is held with care to minimize overwhelm, and the focus is always on your agency and choice. You are always empowered to participate at a level that feels safe for you.

You always have a choice. While sharing and witnessing are powerful aspects of the group experience, you will never be put on the spot or required to share anything you are not comfortable with. You can participate and benefit immensely through self-reflection and witnessing others.
